Define the baroque shape family

Baroque pearls can show folds, ridges and growth features that contribute to their character. These are different from dull nacre, deep pits, cracks or damaged drill edges. Approve examples of acceptable and unacceptable surfaces. For statement jewelry, strong luster often creates more value than forcing every pearl into a similar outline.
Control drilling and orientation
Drilling determines how a baroque pearl faces when assembled. Specify full-drilled, half-drilled or undrilled material, hole diameter, entry and exit quality, and the intended front. Test a small sample with the real wire, peg, cord or finding before bulk drilling because irregular forms can rotate or hang unexpectedly.
Approve the wholesale batch
Request a wide photo of the complete lot, several close-ups and a slow video under neutral light. The evidence should show typical pieces, not only selected hero pearls. Keep an approved sample range and label it with the purchase order. For reorders, compare the new batch beside the retained sample and document accepted differences.
Prepare a useful inquiry
Include shape family, dimensions, color, luster, surface tolerance, drilling, quantity, pair or strand matching, target product and required delivery date. If price is the main constraint, state which attribute can vary. This gives the supplier room to propose a real available batch without silently changing the feature most visible to customers.
